Our plan today was to take the hop on hop off bus from the port of Piraeus into Athens. It drops you off right at the Acropolis. And then if we had time, take the rest of the bus route to see some of the rest of Athens. We were one of the first people off the ship and we walked over to the HOHO bus. The bus left almost immediately. We were the only ones on the bus and got to the Acropolis before the crowds arrived.
They’re doing a lot of reconstruction work on the Parthenon.
Lots of spare parts laying around.
Need to find the rest of this person’s body. Usually the feet are missing. Shouldn’t be too hard.
Later in the day everyone was out and about. Traffic was crazy!
